Protecting your data is important to us. What makes this service special: your QR codes are created entirely locally in your browser. The content you enter (e.g. web addresses, Wi-Fi credentials, contact details) and any uploaded logos are not transmitted to our servers and not stored.

3. Creating QR codes (local processing)

All input you provide to generate a QR code is processed exclusively within your browser in order to compute the code graphic and the preview. This data is not transmitted to us or to third parties. When you leave or reload the page, this input is lost.

4. Hosting

This website is hosted by Hostinger International Ltd. The servers are located within the European Union. When the pages are accessed, the hosting provider automatically collects information in so-called server log files that your browser transmits automatically:

• browser type and version
• operating system used
• referrer URL
• anonymized or shortened IP address
• date and time of access

This data is used for the technical provision, stability and security of the website. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in secure provision). A data processing agreement (Art. 28 GDPR) is in place with the hosting provider.

5. Cookies and local storage

We do not use any tracking, analytics or advertising cookies. For this reason, no cookie banner is used either.

Only your chosen display setting (light or dark mode) is stored in your browser's local storage so that it is retained on your next visit. This information does not leave your device. The legal basis for storing this technically necessary setting is § 25 (2) no. 2 TDDDG.

6. No disclosure to third parties

No analytics services, no external fonts and no third-party scripts from external servers are loaded. Personal data is not passed on to third parties.

7. SSL/TLS encryption

For security reasons, this site uses SSL/TLS encryption. You can recognize an encrypted connection by the “https://” in your browser's address bar.

8. Your rights

Within the framework of the statutory provisions, you have the right at any time to:

• access to your stored data (Art. 15 GDPR)
• rectification of inaccurate data (Art. 16 GDPR)
• erasure (Art. 17 GDPR)
• restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR)
• data portability (Art. 20 GDPR)
• objection to processing (Art. 21 GDPR)

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR).

9. Updates and changes

As the service evolves (e.g. future account and Pro features), it may become necessary to adjust this privacy policy. The current version published here applies in each case.
